Three GA Fall Athletes Earn All-Conference Accolades

State College, Pa. - After completing four sports to conclude the 2013 fall sport season, the Penn State Greater Allegheny athletic department is honored with three PSUAC All-Conference award winners.

Women's volleyball wrapped up their 2013-14 season with their second consecutive appearance in the PSUAC Elite 8 playoffs. Junior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) earned the First-Team All-Conference distinction after she completed her season leading nearly every GA statistical category. Finocchi finished her season with 225 kills, 532 total attacks, 209 digs, and 70 total blocks. She also ranked in the top five in the PSUAC for five different categories: kills per set (3.26), kills (225), digs per set (3.03), hitting percentage (.312), and blocks per set (1.01).

Junior middle hitter Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, Pa./St. John Neuman) earned the Honorable Mention honor, as the dual-athlete completed her first season of competition for the academic year. Christina finished her season with 100 kills on 321 total attempts, 25 service aces, 113 digs, 63 total blocks and 10 assists, Floyd stood in one PSAUC category, earning .95 blocks per set.

Men's soccer leading forward freshman Manoj Sharma (India/Baldwin) earns himself the First-Team All-Conference award, after he concludes his first season as a GA Lion. Sharma managed to net ten goals and one assist for 21 points to close the first season of men's soccer collegiate play at Greater Allegheny. Starring in all eleven games, Manoj was a sharp-shooter as he ripped 24 shots on goal.
