Victoria Blosser returns for her third season as the head softball coach at Penn State Greater Allegheny for the 2018-19 season.

Blosser helped lead her team to their first Penn State University Athletic Conference Playoff appearance since the 2014 season and only their second appearance in the tournament over the past 17 years. They would wind their first seven conference games of the season before falling in five straight putting their record at 7-5. They would need to win four of their last eight games to clinch a playoff spot and they would do that and more going 7-1 over their last eight games to go into the PSUAC Playoffs as the #3 seed.

Their 16-10 overall record and 14-6 PSUAC Conference record both broke program records for the most wins in a season. After not having a program in the 2015-2016 season, Blosser has managed to build the program from the ground up and instill a winning culture into her teams.

Prior to joining Greater Allegheny, Blosser had a long list of experience from not only playing, but coaching and umpiring as well. She has played softball for over 25 years, coached for over five years and umpired for over three years.

During her 25 years of experience, Victoria  has notched seven of those years playing for the McKeesport Girls Softball League (1989-1996), where she was the starting short-stop. Blosser has put her athletic efforts through various tournaments where she has earned multiple accolades. The newcomer switched from short to catcher through her days at McKeesport High School, where she earned All-Section as well as varsity lettered all four seasons.

Blosser has played for the Kiski Valley Pirates based out of Apollo, alongside playing in Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania in several different showcases.

Victoria was a student-athlete at Geneva College for two seasons, before she transfered to Penn State Greater Allegheny to finish out her remaining two years.

Blosser has a wide array of coaching ages, ranging from six to 18, and is eager to get work at her alma mater.

"I am extremely passionate about softball and I can't wait to get to work with the ladies," said Blosser.
