The 2019-2020 season marks Darius Prince's fourth season as an assistant coach with Penn State Greater Allegheny.  Prince has worked closely with head coach Tyler Care over those four seasons and has been one of the motivating factors to the team's recent success working with the guards and serving as a defensive specialist.

During Prince's tenure as an assistant coach, PSUGA has made it to the Penn State University Athletic Conference Tournament in each of those four years while making the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship in two of the four seasons. He has worked with some of the top players in program history including helping Curtis Newby capture the all-time rebounding record in PSUGA Men's Basketball history.

Away from the basketball court, Prince is in his third season as a Wide Reciever for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arean Football League where he signed late in the 2017 season. In two regular season games in 2017, he totaled nine catches for 103 yards and three touchdowns. He helped lead the Soul to their second straight ArenaBowl title and was named the ArenaBowl XXX MVP pulling in two touchdown catches in his teams win. He was the first rookie since Rick Hamilton to win the award dating back to ArenaBowlXII.

Prince is very familiar with the PSUAC, having played at Penn State Greater Allegheny for 3 years before transferring to play with head coach Tyler Care at Penn State Beaver for his senior season.  Prince was a 4-time PSUAC All-Conference player, 2-time First Team USCAA All-American, and 1,000-point scorer over his 4 years of college basketball. He finished with 1,468 career points placing him second all-time on the PSUGA scoring list.

Prince is a West Mifflin native and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Criminal Justice in 2014.
