Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh is excited to be entering her first full season as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Penn State Greater Allegheny.
Jalyn is a former Division II basketball player from State College, Pa who played at Lock Haven University from 2015-2019. During her time as a Bald Eagle, Jalyn was a three-year starter and captain who helped lead her team to its first playoff victory in 28 years during the 2018-2019 season.
Prior to joining Penn State Greater Allegheny, Shelton-Burleigh was the assistant women’s basketball coach at Penn State New Kensington under coach Mike McGoff during the 2022-2023 season. She has also been a member of the Wester Pa Bruins AAU organization since 2021 and is the Head Coach of their 5th grade developmental team during the off-season.
Coach Jalyn is extremely excited to be entering her first season as the new Head Women’s Basketball coach at PSUGA and cannot be more thankful for the opportunity to lead, develop, and compete with our student-athletes.
