The 2019-2020 season marks Zack Zeigler's third season as the Penn State Greater Allegheny Sports Information Director. Last season, marked the debut of the PSUGA Athletics Newsletter, a weekly publication highlighting the top news stories around the PSUGA Athletics Department as well as the first ever soccer live stream that was played on the PSUGA Athletics YouTube channel.

In his first year, he took control of the PSUGA Athletics Social Media Pages as well as helping to redesign the PSUGA Athletics Website. He also created the first ever PSUGA Athletics yearbook in both print and ebook version.

While serving as the Sports Information Director at PSUGA, Zeigler also works as an assistant on the Track & Field coaching staff working with the throwers. He helped Cameron Shaw qualify for the USCAA National meet last season with a season best throw of 7.92 meters.

Prior to joining the PSUGA Athletics team, Zeigler served as the head play-by-play voice of the Washington Wild Things during the 2016 & 2017 seasons. He called all home and away games on the Trib Live High School Sports Network (Formerly the MSA Sports Network) and was on the call for the Wild Things first playoff game since the 2014 season when they took on the Florence Freedom in the first round of the Frontier League Playoffs.

Zeigler graduated from Waynesburg University in 2017 where he obtained his degree in Communications with a focus in Sports Broadcasting/Sports Information and a minor in Journalism. He was also a three-year member of the Waynesburg University Football Team where he played as an offensive lineman. Zeigler was part of the 2014 PAC Conference Championship season with the Yellow Jackets and his team's made two appearances in NAIA Bowl Games. After stepping away from the field, Zeigler pursued acting and starred in three productions at Waynesburg University on the stage as part of their theatre program in "The Little Mermaid", "Fools", and "The Adams Family."

Zeigler resides from West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and graduated from West Mifflin Area High School in 2013 where he was a four-year member of the football team. During his time at West Mifflin, the Titans made it to the WPIAL Championship game during Zeigler's Senior Season and he helped lead his team to the playoffs in each of his four years as a member of the West Mifflin Titans.

Along with his duties as Sports Information Director at Penn State Greater Allegheny, Zeigler also serves as a Freelance Reporter for the Mon Valley Independent where he covers high school sports across all levels of the WPIAL.

Zeigler is excited to help promote PSUGA Athletics and to show off the hard work that the student athletes of PSUGA put in on a day to day basis to make PSUGA the best school and athletic program that it can be.
