The 2011 PSUAC Champion Penn State Greater Allegheny baseball program has learned that it will be the #5 seed in the upcoming USCAA Small College World Series. Greater Allegheny will face #4 seed Splading (KY) University on a date and time to be determined.

In preperation for the World Series, Greater Alleghney has added three games to its schedule. Today, May 5, 2011 the Lions will take on Mercyhurst College at Jerry Uht Park in Erie, PA at 6:00 p.m. The Lakers are currently ranked #17 in NCAA Division II. Greater Allegheny has also added NCAA DII Washington Adventist this Sunday May 8, 2011 at Woodland Hills High School for a 1:00 p.m. DH.
