McKeesport, Pa- Sophomore designated hitter Sam Weightman (Penn Trafford, PA) and Freshman pitcher Eddie Emes (New Brighton, PA) both received PSUAC Player of the Week accolades.

  Weightman was named PSUAC Player of the Week- a week in which he batted .360 over nine games.  In those nine games, he collected 9 hits- 4 of which were doubles- and drove in 12 runs. 

  Emes was named PSUAC Pitcher of the Week.  He made two starts, highlighted by a 7 inning, complete game shutout, in his first career start.  He gave up just 3 runs over 9 innings, and struck out 5 batters.
