McKeesport, Pa. - Penn State Greater Allegheny sophomore Matt Klena (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) was just signed to play baseball for the Slippery Rock Sliders, a Prospect League based out of Slippery Rock, Pa.

The 6'2" right-handed pitcher collected 32 strikeouts in 49 2/3 innings for the Greater Allegheny Lions. Matt cashed in five wins to assist the team in a 35-17,19-3 PSUAC finish. Klena is set to be join the squad on Wednesday, July 10 as they host the Richmond River Dogs for a 7:05 p.m. start.
