GA Baseball Picks Up a Double-Header Before USCAA Trip

McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's baseball team add a set of games to their regular season schedule before they travel to Springfield, Illinois to partake in the 2014 USCAA Baseball National Championships.

On Friday, May 9, the Greater Allegheny Lions will travel to Erie, Pa. to take on Mercyhurst in a double-header. Game one is set for first pitch at 1 p.m.

The Lions accept the bid to the USCAA's, as they landed a spot in the #3 position after their 5-0 sweep of Penn State Brandywine in the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championships. Greater Allegheny will open up their USCAA bid on May 12, as they play St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) at Robin Roberts Stadium - first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.
