State College, Pa. - In the first award of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, sophomore left-handed pitcher Sam Ligeros (Munhall, Pa./Steel Valley) earned the PSUAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week title after notching his first two collegiate wins on the bump for the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's baseball team.

The second-year Lion earned his first two collegiate wins on the mound after showing out in a little over eight innings through four games. With one complete game through Greater Allegheny's spring break trip, the lefty dished out seven strikes, while walking three to first base, with an overall ERA of 2.16.
