The 2021-22 season marks Kenny Creehan's 4th season at the helm of the Penn State Greater Allegheny Baseball team. After the 2019-2020 season was cut short due to the COVID Pandemic, Creehan is excited to continue the winning tradition of the program by leading the team back to the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) playoffs. "We have been recruiting hard and trying to keep a deep winning tradition alive & well at PSUGA", Creehan says.

2020-21 saw Coach Creehan and his team return to the playoffs finishing 14-11 overall and the 3rd seed in the PSUAC playoffs.

Creehan coached three PSUAC All-Conference players, including First-Team PSUAC and First-Team All American selection Dylan Ernst in 2019, and two United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-Americans in his first season with PSUGA. He looks to continue the winning culture surrounding the program, and get them back to the USCAA Small College World Series.

Creehan has head coaching experience at almost every level of NCAA and has seen success in a majority of his endeavors. Creehan began his collegiate career in 1989 at Allegheny College. In his first season with the Gators, Creehan led them to the NCAA Division III Regional tournament for the first time in school history. Creehan would then make the jump to the NCAA Division I circuit when he went to The Citadel from 1989-1991.

At The Citadel, he had his first big break through leading his team to the Division I College World Series in Omaha. His team was the first ever Military Academy to make it to the Division I World Series. Creehan got a chance to work under legendary Citadel head coach Chal Port who gave him many lessons that he uses in his coaching today. The 1990 Citadel Team was Regular Season Southern Conference Champions, Tournament Champions, Atlantic Regional Champions in Miami and in 1991 again Regular Season Southern Conference Champions. After two season at The Citadel Creehan moved on to another Military Academy, this time Virginia Military Institute in Lexington VA as the Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.  He got his first stint as a head coach the very next year when he took over as head baseball coach at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate TN. Over his four years as head coach at Lincoln Memorial, Creehan’s teams broke over 60 individual school records and every single team record during those four years. Creehan won over 100 games as the Skipper over those four seasons while competing in the very strong Gulf South Conference which is recognized as one of the very best NCAA DII Conferences in the Country. Creehan would remain in the college circuit returning to Allegheny College, the place where his coaching career started, as an assistant for several seasons.

Following Allegheny College, Creehan turned his attention to training the next generation of college players when he turned to the AAU Circuit. During his 10 years ,Creehan lead a group at Team All-American, which is a top AAU program. During his tenure, his teams have won over 400 games and been in 50 different championship events. His proudest moments were leading his 16-year old team to a National Championship and then again leading his 17-year old team to yet another National Championship. He was also the 16U Ohio Valley USA NTIS Skipper in the summers of 2017 and 2018.

Creehan is a 1989 graduate of Edinboro University and was a 4 year starting shortstop from 1984-1988
