Canton, OH- Freshman guard Chris Dixon (Homestead, PA/Steel Valley) led the Greater Allegheny (7-14, 4-9 PSUAC) men's basketball team with a career-high 23 points, on a night in which they suffered a 94-52 defeat at the hands of non-conference opponent, Malone.
Dixon grabbed nine rebounds, with junior forward David Caparosa (Wilkins Township, PA/Woodland Hills) adding 11 points and six rebounds off the bench. Junior forward Aaron Byrd (Upper Malboro, MD/Dr. Henry A. Wise) had eight points, while fellow junior forward Nick Dizon (Rankin, PA/Woodland Hills) scored six and notched five rebounds.
The GA men will return to PSUAC action this Saturday, February 2 for a 3 PM tip against Penn State Mont Alto.
