Greater Allegheny Men's Track and Field Participates in St. Francis Invitational

Loretto, Pa. - Three Penn State Greater Allegheny competitors took on local track and field teams in the Invitational at St. Francis, Saturday afternoon.

The Greater Allegheny student-athletes took place in two different events, which were both primarily comprised of NCAA Division I student-athletes.

Freshman Michael Burchlaw (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) placed 7th overall in the 3000 meter race with a time of 9:13.

Sophomore Andrew Bradley (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin) and freshman Ellis Massiah (Waterford, Ct./Waterford) both competed in the 800 meter relay. Massiah took 9th place with a time of 2:05 while Bradley was not far behind him, finishing 11th place in a time of 2:22.

Greater Allegheny came in fifth place overall in the men's team standings, just behind Duquesne, St. Francis, Mount St. Mary's and West Liberty.
