Freshman:

James Plez qualified for four different events at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament during his freshman season, the most of any PSUGA Athlete. He competed in the Long Jump, 100-Meter Dash, 200-Meter Dash, and the Men's 4x400-Meter Relay taking home a silver medal as part of the second place PSUGA 4x400-Meter Relay team. Plez set two program records during the team's innaugural season in the Long Jump (5.83 M) and the 100-Meter Dash (12.18 seconds). Plez competed in all six events for PSUGA during his freshman season.

High School:

Plez graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia, PA. where he was a member of the boy's Track & Field team.
