Makis Rivera became the first-ever PSUGA Male Athlete to be named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Champion when he won the 800-Meter run with a time of 2:08.91. Rivera was one of nine PSUGA Athletes to qualify for the event as he ran the 800-Meter run as he had all season long for PSUGA. Rivera currently holds the program record in the 800-Meter run with a time of 2:08.33 at the Slippery Rock Open.
