Women's Basketball Drops Fifth Straight

Youngwood, Pa- The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball team returned from their holiday break hoping to stymie a four-game losing streak, as they traveled to Wesmoreland CC. However, GA would fall to WCCC, 54-40, dropping to 1-5 on the season.

Leading the offense for the Lady Lions was Freshman Guard Nakayla Layne (Taylor Allderdice) with 13 points.  Fellow Freshmen, Guard Taylor McCallister (Norwin) and Forward Christina Floyd (St. John Neumann), each chipped in with 11 points apiece.

Following the loss, the Greater Allegheny women will continue to look to right the ship, as they host Penn State Brandywine Friday, December 2 for a 6:00 PM start.
