Women's Basketball Back On Track With Victory Over Schuylkill

McKeesport, Pa- The Penn State Greater Allegheny Lady Lions squad staked themselves to a 10 point lead in the first half and never looked back, defeating visiting Penn State Schuylkill, 76-59. With the win, they ended a 6 straight game losing streak.

            Sophomore Guard Monica Poupaskis (West Mifflin) led all scorers with 27 points. Freshmen Forward Christina Floyd (St.  John Neumann) had yet another productive game for GA, earning a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

            With the PSUAC victory, The Lady Lions upped their record to 2-6 overall, and 1-1 in conference play.  Now that the losing streak has been broken, it remains to be seen whether they can continue their winning ways. The next game will be Monday, December 5th against visiting Penn State Du Bois.
