Long-Awaited USCAA Coaches Poll Berth for Greater Allegheny Women's Hoops

Newport News, Va. - With their hard-work and determination, the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball team have found themselves ranked 17th in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Women's Basketball Division II Coaches Poll through week seven of action.

This is the first time the women have been ranked on the list, after receiving votes a few other weeks.

The women (7-10, 3-4 PSUAC) are holding down the eighth Penn State University Athletic Conference seed, just after Penn State Fayette and Penn State DuBois.

After Friday night's PSUAC 74-29 blowout over Penn State Worthington-Scranton, the women are now on the quest to even out their conference record at four as they host Wilkes-Barre, Saturday afternoon, at 1 p.m.

Continue the hard-work, ladies!
