Lion Women's Basketball Sitting in 19th in Week Eight of USCAA Coaches Polls

Newport News, Va. - Continuting their hard-work and determination, the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball team have found themselves ranked 19th in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Women's Basketball Division II Coaches Poll through week eight of action.

This is the second time the women have been ranked on the list, after 17th in week seven alongside receiving votes a few other weeks.

The women (8-12, 4-6 PSUAC) are holding down the ninth Penn State University Athletic Conference seed, just after Penn State Fayette, Penn State DuBois and Penn State Schuylkill.

After Saturday afternoon's PSUAC 70-45 showout over Penn State Mont Alto, the women are now on the road for the remainder of the regular season to play in a streak of four games in a week. Starting with Beaver, the women will then go on the road to the other side of the state for Hazleton, Schuylkill and Brandywine.

Continue the hard-work, ladies!
