Lady Lions Tied for 18th in Week Nine of USCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Polls

Newport News, Va. - Progressively getting better as the season strolls along, the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball team has earned themselves a placed tied for 18th in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Women's Basketball Division II Coaches Poll through week nine of action.

This is the third time the women have been ranked on the list, after 19th in week eight and 17th in week seven alongside receiving votes a few other weeks.

As of February 12th, the women were sitting at 8-13, 4-7 PSUAC as the coaches poll came out. After the announcement, the Lions fell to Hazleton 75-61 before they took Schuylkill by a tally of 48-44.

The women (8-12, 4-6 PSUAC) are holding down the ninth Penn State University Athletic Conference seed, just after Penn State Fayette, Penn State DuBois and Penn State Schuylkill.

With the Penn State University Athletic Conference weekend just about to wrap up, the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball team will gear up for their final regular season contest of the 2015-16 season. A double-header is set for Brandywine on Monday for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
