However, Mont Alto responded going on a 6-0 run just one minute later that brought the score to 10-8.

PSUGA would hold a slight 14-13 advantage after one quarter of play, but found their defensive groove in the second quarter limiting Mont Alto to just six points in the quarter. A 10-0 run midway through the quarter would open up the PSUGA lead to 30-17 and PSUGA would head into the locker room scoring 11 of the final 13 points to grab a 41-19 lead.

PSU-Mont Alto found some success to start the second half scoring 10 of 18 to get within 20 points, however, that was the closes that Mont Alto would get on the day. PSUGA closed out the game scoring 21 fourth quarter points to secure the 79-55 victory.
