McKeesport, Pa. - Through 90 minutes of play, the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's soccer team dropped their first game of the season to Thiel by a 7-0 decision.

Freshman goaltender Jen Keefer (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth Forward) faced 14 shots on goal through ninety minutes, stopping seven. 

Both freshman midfielder Albree Weisen (Pittsburgh, Pa./Carrick) and forward Antoinette Gordy-Smith (Philadelphia, Pa./Mastbaum AVTS) narrowly missed a scoring opportunity each in the second half.

Greater Allegheny keeps their heads up and looks forward to their next match-up. The women travel to Point Park, Sunday, to play a match with their reserve team at 1 p.m.
