Monaca, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's soccer team finished their regular season against Penn State Beaver, Monday night, in a 5-2 Penn State University Athletic Conference battle.
Beaver noted four goals in the first half, putting GA behind 4-0.
Beaver's Spina drew the fifth and final Beaver goal in the 57th minute. Senior midfielder Lauren Antosik (McKeesport, Pa./Oakland Catholic) netted a goal in the 78th minute, 5-1.
With thirty seconds left in the game, senior midfielder Melissa Loftus (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) found sophomore forward Gaby Selmi (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Owen-Withee) in front of the goal, 5-2.
Freshman goalkeeper Alexa Byers (Spring Creek, Pa./Corry Area) ten shots on goal, stopping five.
Freshman midfielder Erin Findlay (Greensburg, Pa./Central Catholic) ripped five shots as Loftus noted three.
As a team, Greater Allegheny was outshot 19-13.
Greater Allegheny (4-8, 2-8) finished their 2016-17 season with 32 goals in 12 games.
