McKeesport, Pa- The Penn State Greater Allegheny Women's Volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (12-25, 15-25, 11-25) loss at the hands of visiting Penn State Beaver.

The Greater Allegheny women continually found themselves behind early, all through the match. Beaver was strong in their attack, earning huge leads throughout.  Each and every time that GA would cut into the lead, Beaver would counter with powerful strings of attacks. Penn State Beaver would cruise to a 3-0 match win.

The GA women still would put in a valiant effort, led by Freshman Alyssa Finocchi's (Baldwin) 3 Kills and 5 Digs. Fellow Freshman Corinne Wilson (Bethel Park) also added 3 Kills and 1 Dig.

With the loss, Greater Allegheny falls to 4-13 overall, and 3-7 in PSUAC play. The Lady Lions will return to the court tomorrow October 6th, as they travel to Westmoreland CC for a 6:00 PM match.
