Greater Allegheny Volleyball Drops 3-0 to Fayette

Lemont Furnace, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team traveled to Penn State Fayette, Tuesday evening, where they fell three sets to none by scores of 25-9, 25-19 and 25-14.

Through three sets, sophomore setter Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly) compiled 16 assists, nine digs and four block assists. Senior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) achieved nine kills alongside thirteen digs, three block solos and six block assists. 

Senior middle hitter Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, Pa./Sts. Neumann-Goretti) added four kills alongside her eight total blocks and three digs. Freshman defensive specialist Tori Johnston (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) got down for eleven digs.

Greater Allegheny (5-4, 0-1 PSUAC) look onward to Thursday, as the ladies travel to Penn State New Kensington for another Penn State University Athletic Conference match-up. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
