GA Volleyball Earns a 3-0 Victory from Chatham University

Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team proved triumphant through three sets of action against Chatham University, Monday night. 

Senior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) earned herself eight kills, three service aces, five block solos and 13 digs. Sophomore setter Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly) dished out 20 assists through three sets, along with three total blocks and four digs. Freshman right side Laura Vazquez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cupey Maria Montessori) made her mark with seven kills and ten digs with one service ace. Freshman defensive specialist Tori Johnston (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) got down for 12 digs with her two kills and one service ace.

Greater Allegheny came out ahead through three sets as 25-20, 25-19 and 25-21 ended the game at a 3-0 standstill.

Penn State Greater Allegheny (7-4, 1-1 PSUAC) looks to continue the momentum Tuesday night, as Penn State University Athletic Conference rival, Penn State DuBois, comes to Wunderley Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
