McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team hosted a Penn State University Athletic Conference match-up against Penn State Fayette, Thursday night, where GA saw the short-end, 3-0.

Greater Allegheny was back-and-forth with Fayette through the first set until the 21st point, where Fayette took four straight to close the set. 

The second set proved similar, as Greater Allegheny and Fayette went point-for-point for a final tally of 25-22. 

Fayette jumped out early in the last set that was too much to come back, GA coming up short 25-18. 

Through the three sets, senior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) hammered ten kills, sixteen digs and four block assists. Sophomore setter Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly) dished out 16 assists and nine digs alongside four kills through the three bouts. 

Greater Allegheny (16-8, 9-5 PSUAC)  looks onward to Saturday, as they travel to Penn State DuBois for another Penn State University Athletic Conference game. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
