Finocchi, Brisbon and Floyd Earn PSUAC Volleyball All-Conference Awards

University Park, Pa. - Three Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball players receive accolades from the Penn State University Athletic Conference for their accomplishments through the 2014-15 season,

Senior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) was recognized as First-Team All-Conference for her stand-out efforts. Finocchi finished 95 matches, recording 316 kills averaging 3.33 kills per set with a hitting percentage of 39.7%. She put up 14 assists while noting 87 service aces. Finocchi got down for 222 digs while posting 64 block solos, 44 block assists for a total of 108. She placed 489 points, averaging 5.1 per set.

Finocchi finished her career with 92 games played through 295 sets. She posted 840 kills averaging 2.85 kills per set through the four years of action at Greater Allegheny. She assisted 42 kills while placing 236 service aces. She got down for a total of 737 digs over four years as she also got up for a total of 256 blocks (165 solo and 91 assisted). She scored a total of 1,286.5 points through her tenure, averaging 4.4 a set.

Sophomore Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly) was awarded the Second-Team All-Conference recognition, as she showed out at the setter position. Brisbon competed in 25 matches through 82 sets in the 2014-15 season, while knocking down 39 kills and setting up a staggering 537 kills to average 6.55 assists per set. She posted 57 service aces while getting down for 143 digs. She totaled 22 blocks for Greater Allegheny, placing 108 points for the Lions.

In her two-year career at Penn State Greater Allegheny, Brisbon appeared in 151 sets through 49 games. She put down 76 kills while assisting 823 other Lion kills. Adrielle served 95 aces while getting down for 243 digs and totaling 41 block totals. She scored 195 points through her tenure with the Greater Allegheny Lions.

Senior middle hitter Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, Pa./Sts. Neumann-Goretti) earned an Honorable Mention in the Penn State University Athletic Conference for her efforts through the season for her final year in a Lion uniform. She saw 26 matches with 87 sets. Floyd placed 113 kills with a hitting percentage 20.1% for GA while assisting six others. She served 41 aces while getting down 53 digs. Christina totaled 87 blocks - 46 block solos and 41 block assists - while achieving 220.5 points.

Through her four years in a Greater Allegheny uniform, Floyd appeared in 88 matches through 277 sets. Floyd accomplished 321 kills for a final hitting percentage of 17.2%. She got down for 306 digs while serving 96 aces. Floyd compiled 192 total blocks, 113 of them being solo. She placed a total of 569.5 points through her four years of competition for the blue and white.
