Cross Country Finishes Season With 13th Place Finish In USCAA National Championship

Lake Placid, NY- Five Greater Allegheny cross country runners participated in this weekend's USCAA National Championship, finishing 13th overall, which was the second highest among PSUAC schools- Penn College finished 12th.

  Sophomore Ryan Bartok (Mt. Pleasant, PA) paced the GA runners by finishing 63rd with a time of 31:19.  Sophomore Brandon Jacobs (Liberty Boro, PA) finished 82nd at 32:17, with freshman Rob Meier (Harrison City, PA) crossing the finish line shortly after, in 84th, with a time of 32:18. 

  Freshman Nate Ferraro (West Mifflin, PA) came in 88th at 32:43, while sophomore Jared Reesman (State College, PA) rounded out the GA runners by finishing 120th, with a time of 34:35.

  Wrapping up the USCAA National Championship marks the end of a successful 2012 campaign, one in which Greater Allegheny finished 3rd or better in all of its regular season races.
