McKeesport, Pa- Big things are expected from the Greater Allegheny baseball and softball teams this season, and such expectations are reflected as both squads are ranked in the first USCAA Coaches Poll.

  The softball team lands at #18, and is one of five PSUAC teams appearing in the poll. Schuylkill heads the conference at #8, and is followed by Fayette (#11), Beaver (#16), and then Hazleton (#20).  The GA softball season opens this Saurday, March 31, as they take on Carlow College. 

  On the baseball side, Greater Allegheny (9-9) begins the year at #6, which leads the PSUAC participants.  Five additional PSUAC members landed in the rankings: Beaver (#11), Fayette (#16), Wilkes-barre (#18), Brandywine (#19), and Penn College (#20).  GA returns to action this Saturday, March 31 for a non-conference double-header against OSU-Chillicothe.
