Floyd and Christian Win USCAA Player of the Week Accolades

University Park, Pa. - Both senior power forward Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, Pa./Sts. Neumann-Goretti) and freshman Rodjrecko Christian (Pittsburgh, Pa./Westinghouse) were awarded with the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week honors for their outstanding effort in their sport at Penn State Greater Allegheny for the week of November 18th.

The first Women’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week honor goes to Christina Floyd for her record-breaking start to the season. In a two week span, Floyd recorded her 1,000 career rebound and also her 1,000 career point. In four total games, the senior forward averaged 18.5 points per game on 56.6% shooting from the floor.  She also averaged 20.3 rebounds per contest while adding 2.3 steals per game.

The first of the Wrestler of the Week award goes to Rodjrecko Christian. The 285-pound freshmen has started his college career off with three straight wins, which includes a 56 second pin alongside a 7-0 decision.
