The Penn State Greater Allegheny baseball program picked up a huge win today downing NAIA's #25 ranked Point Park University 7-2. Greater Allegheny used eight different pitchers en route to the victory. Freshman Dan Laird (Steel Valley) picked up the victory on the mound.
The lions were led offensively by Junior Ted Fricke (Carrick) and Freshman Adam Wehr (Northwestern) with two hits a piece.
Greater Allegheny improves to 25-10-1 overall. The PSUAC league champions are #1 seed in this years PSUAC tournament. Greater Allegheny will open up this friday, April 29, with a 7:30 p.m. start at Medlar Field at the main campus of Penn State University.
