THe Penn State Greater Allegheny baseball program, fresh off a PSUAC championship, traveled to Erie, PA to take on #17 NCAA Division II Mercyurst College.
Greater Allegheny got things rolling in the top of the 1st with a one out single by Mike Visloski (West Allegheny), followed by a double by junior Ted Fricke (Carrick). The lions failed to capitialize, and struggled with the bats the rest of the game.
Greater Allegheny will be back in action on Sunday May8, 2011, when they host Washington Adventist at Woodland Hills High School, first pitch is 1:00 p.m.
