Weightman and James Earn PSUAC Player and Pitcher of the Week Accolades

McKeesport, Pa- A 3-1 weekend is obviously a good accomplishment for Greater Allegheny baseball as a team, and with such team accomplishments usually comes strong individual efforts as well:  junior designated hitter Sam Weightman (Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford) has been named Co-PSUAC Player of the Week, while junior right-hander Evan James (Harrison City, PA/Western Oklahoma State) received PSUAC Pitcher of the Week honors. 

Weightman hit .667 over the four games and led GA with eight hits in 12 at-bats, while also driving in five runs.  James pitched a complete game, four-hitter in an 11-2 victory on Sunday.  He gave up just two runs, while walking and striking out two.
