GA Looks to Continue Good Run

(McKeesport, PA)

Last weekend saw GA Baseball pick up their first win of the season against NCAA Division II opponent, D'Youville College. Jordan Williams was brilliant throwing a complete game, 4 strikeout, 1 earned run performance in Sunday's win.

Before GA heads to Myrtle Beach to play in the Ripken Experience over spring break, they will take on the Community College of Allegheny County in a doubleheader on Saturday at 12pm and 3pm at Pullman Park.

Vinnie Martin has led the way thus far offensively with 5 hits and 3 runs batted in through 3 games. Joe Schulte has been a dual threat, stealing 4 bags and adding 4 hits during that time.

Through 3 games in 2022, GA has doubled their runs scored from their first 3 games in 2021 (18 to 9).

GA will play 6 games next week in Myrtle Beach with their first game on Tuesday against Rochester Community and Technical College.
