Penn State Greater Allegheny picked up their first conference win of the season on Friday with a 9-3 defeat of Penn State Beaver. Adam Wilson went 6 innings, recorded 8 strikeouts, and gave up zero earned runs to pick up his second win of the season.

Douglas Painter collected 4 hits and scored 3 runs in the win. Tyler Elliot added 2 hits, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI. Joe Schulte added 2 stolen bases.

GA led 4-0 going into the bottom of the 7th. Beaver added 2 runs to make it 4-2. Greater Allegheny would add 3 runs in the top of the 8th and 2 runs in the top of the 9th.

The series resumes on Sunday, March 27 with a doubleheader at Pullman Park at 12pm and 3pm, weather permitting.
