Baseball Honors Seniors, Ends Season with Win at Fayette

On Saturday, Greater Allegheny Baseball honored 4 seniors. Matt Givler, Douglas Painter, Randy Berroa, and Jordan Williams were each honored in a pre-game ceremony.

GA fell in both games to Mont Alto to end their home slate of games for the season. On Sunday, Greater Allegheny ended their campaign with a 7-5 road win at Fayette in extra innings.

 

For the season, Vinnie Martin won the regular season RBI race with 31, Doug Painter finished 4th in stolen bases with 20. As a team, GA finished 5th in the conference in batting average at .294, tied for 4th in homeruns with 8, 5th in RBI's with 132, and 5th in runs scored with 159. 

Defensively, GA led the league with 20 recorded double plays and recorded the most put outs with 637.
