Men's Basketball Loses Close One

New Kensington, Pa- Freshman guard Robert Taylor (Peabody) scored a season-high 21 points Wednesday night, but it wasn't enough, as Greater Allegheny fell to Penn State New Kensington, 75-71.

Taylor would add 8 rebounds to his offensive output, while Junior guard Mike McCarthy (Sto Rox) chipped in with 12 points.  Freshman forward Zach Smith (Ringgold) also scored in double figures, with 10 points.

With their second straight loss by single digits, Penn State Greater Allegheny falls to 2-4 overall, and 1-1 in the PSUAC. The GA men will return to the court Friday, December 2, as they host Penn State Brandywine in an 8:00 PM tip-off.
