Newport News, Va- Junior Center Jon Schmid (Glenbard West) has been named the USCAA's Division-II Player of the Week.

  Schmid averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds for the week.  He dominated the paint defensively, racking up 4 blocks in the game against Penn State Brandywine, and 5 blocks against Penn State Schuylkill.

  For the season, Schmid has averaged 10.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 47% from the field.
