Monaca, Pa- An 89-60 loss at Penn State Beaver (20-4, 16-1) continues the Greater Allegheny struggles, as they have now dropped 10 straight games.
Freshman Forward Patrick Malcolm (Archbishop Carroll) was lone the GA player to score in double-figures, with 11. Sophomore Forward Aaron Byrd (Dr. Henry A. Wise) and Junior Guard Mike McCarthy (Sto Rox) each chipped in with 9. The men shot 47% (28-60) from the field, but just 1-12 from behind the 3-point line.
The loss drops GA's record to 5-19 overall, as they will finish up 3-14 in the PSUAC. The men have one game remaining - a home tilt with nonconference foe Westminster - Monday, February 13th at 7 PM.
