York, Pa- Freshman guard Eric Cottman (Philadelphia, PA) scored a season-high 23 points, but it wasn't enough as Greater Allegheny (5-8, 2-4 PSUAC) fell to Penn State York, 100-62.
GA shot well from the field at 43% (22-51)- including 50% (5-10) from 3-point range- but allowed York to hit shots at a 65% (39-60) clip. Cottman added four assists and three rebounds, while forward Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, FL) scored in double-figures for the second straight game, netting 16 points. Junior forward Aaron Byrd (Upper Malboro, MD) added 10 points of his own, to go along with six rebounds.
The Greater Allegheny men will look to bounce quickly, as they take on Penn College tomorrow afternoon. Tip-off for the PSUAC game is set for 3 PM.
