McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball hosted a Penn State University Athletic Conference match-up against Penn State Fayette, Tuesday night, in Wunderley Gymnasium.

Penn State Fayette jumped out to a quick 11-2 lead just five minutes into the game. Senior forward Aaron Byrd (Upper Marlboro, Md./Dr. Henry A. Wise) bucketed the first four points for GA, followed up by Greater Allegheny big-timers junior guard Chris Dixon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Steel Valley) and junior guard Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, Fla./Florida Christian), who also added tallies. The three closed the gap, 13-8, just two minutes of play later. Addison added nine more along with Byrd's lay-up to bring the deficit to three.

Senior forward Nick Dizon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) added to the scoring tally, as he cashed in two lay-up's and a jumper. Dixon closed out the scoring drive in the first half with a jumper followed by a free-throw, ending the first twenty minutes, 49-35.

Addison and freshman forward Carl London (Easton, Pa./Coatesville) added a combined six points before Dizon hit a jumper, sending the game 56-43. Sophomore guard Jordan Zeer (Victoria, British Columbia/New Westminster) notched a jumper as Fayette continued on their 15-point scoring run. Greater Allegheny found themselves trailing 71-45 with eleven minutes to play. Dizon and Addison posted five free-throw points combined to boost efforts.

An array of points contributed by six Greater Allegheny athletes, including freshman guard Alex Dolce (Palm Bay, Fla./Palm Bay), who had a stand-out three-pointer with four minutes to play. Unfortunately, the effort was not enough, as Fayette persevered the PSUAC showdown, 95-76.

Greater Allegheny went on to out-rebound Fayette, 54-32, as well as out-scoring Fayette in the paint, 34-28. GA also cashed in for 44.1% (30-68) for the floor while completing 47.8% (11-23) of their free-throws.

Addison played a significant roll for Greater Allegheny as he turned on for a game-high 32 points and 22 rebounds with four steals. Byrd put up 16 points and seven rebounds alongside Dizon's 14 points and 11 rebounds.
