York, Pa. - In the second-half of a Penn State University Athletic Conference weekend, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team came up short through forty minutes of action with Penn State York, 95-53.

York came out hot from the gate, notching the first points. Freshman forward Tony Patterson-Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Roxborough) and freshman guard Khari Hicks (Pittsburgh, Pa./Imani Christian) notched the first points for Greater Allegheny, 5-4 York just two minutes into the contest. Hicks added a point from the foul line as York put distance between the two teams.

Senior forward Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, Fla./Florida Christian) notched a jumper and three free-throws while freshman guard Jashuan Fontanez (Downingtown, Pa./-) made a jumper, Mont Alto just ahead 14-12. York continued to score as Addison and Patterson-Brown achieve jumpers toward the Greater Allegheny tally. 

York stretched themselves out to a 37-18 lead with just seven minutes to go until halftime. Freshman guard Antonio Lucic-Jozak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin), Addison and Fontanez marked jumpers for the visiting team, York sitting ahead of Greater Allegheny at the break, 58-27.

Senior guard Matt Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Mastery Charter Shoemaker Campus) put down a foul shot to open the scoring drive for the second half. Hicks and Patterson-Brown drained jumpers for GA before Patterson-Brown added two foul shots. Freshman guard Terance Wroniak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) downed a jumper as Hicks added three free-throws, York up 76-39.

Hicks and Fontanez continued to hack away at the deficit by contributing jumpshots with four minutes left in regulation. Fontanez put down two free-throws and a jumper as Williams contributed the last points of the game, ending the PSUAC game in a 95-53 setback to Penn State York.

Hicks put up 14 points with two rebounds while Addison added eleven points and four rebounds. Fontanez cashed-in for 13 points as he shot 55.5% (5-of-9) from the floor with four rebounds and an assist.

As a team, Greater Allegheny shot 57.1% (12-of-21) from the foul-line. The men added 14 points off of turnovers while downing nine off of second-chance.

Greater Allegheny (6-11, 3-5 PSUAC) looks onward to another PSUAC double-header with the women. The two teams travel to Penn State DuBois, Wednesday evening, where the men are scheduled to tip-off around 8 p.m.
