DuBois, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team went on the road for a Penn State University Athletic Conference match-up over Penn State DuBois, Wednesday night, where GA slipped 88-72.

Senior guard Matt Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Mastery Charter Shoemaker Campus) was the first to get on the board in the game, notching a jumper. DuBois managed to come back a bit before freshman guard Khari Hicks (Pittsburgh, Pa./Imani Christian) tallied a jumper.

Freshman forward Eddie Davis (Philadelphia, Pa./-) put down four points before senior forward Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, Fla./Florida Christian) drained a set of jumpers. Freshman forward Tony Patterson-Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Roxborough) added a jumpshot before Davis added a free-throw to bring the score to 15-19, DuBois.

Addison put up a jumper and one as Hicks hit down a jumper, moving the score to a DuBois lead 33-20 with just five minutes to play until halftime. Freshman guard Terance Wroniak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Carrick) and Davis matched one another with a jumper. Addison and Davis knocked down jumpers before Addison completed two free-throws to take the game to the break, DuBois in front by a tally of 45-30.

Wroniak and Hicks opened the second half of play with jumpers as freshman guard Jashuan Fontanez (Downingtown, Pa./-) got on the board with four points. Davis posted two more points as Addison hit the jumper to move the game to a 62-42 DuBois advantage. Freshman guard Antonio Lucic-Jozak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) slashed a jumper before Fontanez exploded with seven points, highlighted by a three-pointer, DuBois ahead 67-51 with less than eleven minutes left in regulation.

Hicks, Fontanez and Davis contribute jumpers toward the visitors tally as the clock wound down within four minutes, DuBois leading 72-59. Fontanez drained a trey as Hicks put down a jumper, Greater Allegheny now within twelve points just a minute later. Hicks came up with a jumper and one before Addison and Fontanez dropped jumpers. Hicks slashed a foul shot to wrap the game up as a Penn State DuBois advantage, 88-72.

Fontanez dropped 75% (10-of-15) of his shots taken from the floor, posting 22 points and three rebounds. Addison earned 75% (3-of-4) foul shots while racking 15 points with eleven boards and two assists. Davis put down 13 points while shooting 71.4% from the floor. Hicks posted 12 points and two rebounds.

As a team, Greater Allegheny cashed in on 51.7% (31-of-60) of their shots taken from the floor while out re-bounding the home team.

Greater Allegheny (6-12, 3-6 PSUAC) has a big Penn State University Athletic Conference weekend ahead of them. On Saturday, Penn State Schyulkill comes to Wunderley Gymnasium for a 4:30 p.m. tip-off. On Sunday. The men are then set to host Penn State Brandywine for a 3 p.m. start.
