Monaca, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team ended their 2014-15 season in a Penn State University Athletic Conference rivalry match-up against Penn State Beaver, where GA got the short-end by a tally of 100-84.

Freshman guard Khari Hicks (Pittsburgh, Pa./Imani Christian) opened up the game with a hammer of a three-pointer. Senior forward Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, Fla./Florida Christian) completed two from the free-throw line before freshman guard Jashaun Fontanez (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) knocked down a trey of his own. Freshman guard Terance Wroniak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Carrick) marked a jumper to even the tally at ten just five minutes into the game.

Addison added a pair of jumpers as Fontanez made a three-pointer, 17-12 GA. Hicks put up a jumper as both he and Fontanez achieved points from the free-throw line. Addison completed a jumper before Fontanez put two more foul shots down along with a jumper. Freshman forward Tony Patterson-Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Roxborough) and Hicks matched one another with a jumper apiece to keep GA slightly ahead of Beaver. Hicks finished the first-half scoring drive with a completed jumper and foul line points, Beaver ahead of Greater Allegheny, 40-38.

Fontanez and Addison went back and forth with made jumpers for GA as Beaver began to put a little space between the two teams. Hicks marked a jumper as senior guard Matt Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Mastery Charter Shoemaker Campus) notched a jumper himself. Fontanez noted a jumper as freshman guard Antonio Lucic-Jozak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) nailed down a three-pointer, 67-55 Beaver.

Addison went on a five point scoring run before Patterson-Brown and Hicks made a jump shot each. Addison laid a three-pointer on Beaver before the home team began to extend their lead. Lucic-Jozak and Williams completed jumpers for GA as Addison downed another three-pointer, 95-74. Patterson-Brown and Addison continued to score from the foul line while Addison surplused GA with a three. Freshman guard Darius White-Moore (Pittsburgh, Pa./Brashear) got on the board with the final score before the games end, a three-pointer outside the arc. Beaver overcame Greater Allegheny by a 100-84 tally.

Addison finished all of his seven shots from the free-throw line, as the senior power forward finished his final regular season game with 28 points, nine rebounds and four steals. Fontanez added 19 points with three assists. Hicks added 17 points with an additional board, assist, steal and two steals.

As a team, Greater Allegheny finished 85.7% (18-of-21) of their shots from the free-throw line completing 40.3% (29-of-72) from the floor. GA out-rebounded Beaver 42-39 despite shooting 15 points off second-chance. GA's demise would come off turnovers, where we compared to Beaver 27-11.
