McMunn Honored by Both USCAA and PSUAC for Stand-Out Effort

McKeesport, Pa. - Sophomore guard Jeremy McMunn (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) earned himself the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Division II Player of the Week as well as Penn State University Athletic Conference  Student-Athlete of the Week for men's basketball for the week of February 2nd, 2016.

Through a gut-wrenching Greater Allegheny home battle between PSUAC foe, Penn State DuBois, the sophomore laid down points to equalize the contest, sending the two teams into overtime. Through extra minutes, McMunn polished off the game-winning layup to give the Lions the PSUAC 110-109 victory.

The guard totaled 45 points through four game starts, posting 100% (8-of-8) from the free-throw line with 12 steals, 11 rebounds and five assists. McMunn contributed to the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team improving to 2-1 last week for an overall standing of 10-9, 8-2 PSUAC.
