Marquest Rainey's 26 and Bryce Phillips 25 powered the Greater Allegheny Men to victory over Shenango in the first round of the PSUAC Playoffs on Saturday. Rainey was 4-6 from 3point range and grabbed 9 rebound along the way. Phillips added 14 rebounds to complete his double double.

GA led almost the whole way. The boys from McKeesport quickly erased an 8-3 Shenango lead and never looked back with about 15minutes to play in the first half. Isiah Edmundson dropped 10 of his 12 in the first half along with 8 from Chris Killings to pull GA ahead at the half 55-38.

Rainey and Phillips continued their dominance in the second half adding 13 and 10 respectively. Jeremiah Miller sent the crowd and Wunderley into a frenzy on a thunderous put back dunk on a Carson Flynn missed 3point attempt.

Casey Oliver added 12 off the bench and GA ended things 109-82.

Greater Allegheny advances to play Penn State Beaver on Monday at 8pm.
