State College, Pa- Junior Guard Mike McCarthy (Sto Rox) and Senior Forward Rachel Halaszynski (Elizabeth Forward) have been named PSUAC Men's and Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

 McCarthy led the GA men to a 2-1 record on the week, capped off by his 33 point, 7 assist, and 4 rebound performance in a thrilling, double-overtime victory over Penn College. He also scored 28 points in a loss to Penn State York, and had 15 points and 7 assists in a win over non-conference foe, Westmoreland CC.

 Halaszynski helped the GA women to a 2-1 record, including two important PSUAC victories. She had a double-double against non-conference opponent Westmoreland CC, in which she scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. In the two PSUAC triumphs, Halaszynski had a total of 36 points and 14 rebounds.
