At Penn State Greater Allegheny:

2022-23 Season: The 2022-23 Season was defined by the strong run which led Penn State Greater Allegheny to a PSUAC Men’s Basketball Championship. There were early signs that the team could be special as they had some highly competitive games with 5 of the top NAIA programs in the country early in the season and led D2 Slippery Rock at halftime of their game in November. A big turning point of the season was a 86-83 win at Mont Alto in December. The Championship run began with a home playoff win over New Kensington followed by a thrilling overtime victory at Brandywine. It concluded with a PSUAC Championship at the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State with a 82-70 victory over Wilkes Barre. This qualified the team for the USCAA National Championship in Richmond, VA where the team knocked off Defending National Championship Southern Maine in the first round before falling to this year’s National Champion in a game that went down to the wire.

2021-22 Season: The 2021-22 was a season of building the program which ended with a surprise run to the Conference semifinals. Penn State Greater Allegheny was the only 4 year school in the country that started 5 Freshman for the majority of its games. This led to some Freshman mistakes, but as the Spring Semester started, the team started to hit its groove. Big regular season wins over Carlow and York were highlights. Playoff wins against Shenango at home and Beaver on the road led to a Conference Semifinal game at York, where Greater Allegheny lost to the eventual conference champions in overtime. At the end of the 2021-22 season, there was a definitive goal – Win the 2022-23 PSUAC Championship!
