Woodland Hills, Pa- The Greater Allegheny softball team wrapped up a four game stretch, going 0-4 against Carlow and PSUAC foe Penn State New Kensington. GA was swept 14-1 and 10-0 against Carlow, then fell 8-2 and 9-0 to New Kensington.
Freshman Taylor McCallister (Norwin, PA) led the Greater Allegheny bats, going 3-9 over the four game stretch, with 2 RBI's coming off a home run. Freshman Colleen Kuplast (Cranston East, RI) was also strong at the plate, going 3-11 with a run scored.
With the losses, the GA softball team falls to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in the PSUAC. They will look to get back on track this Friday, as they travel to Penn College for a double-header. First pitch is 2 PM.
